Recharge
Snow-covered trails to recharge your batteries
Snowshoe hikes, cross-country skiing, and pristine nature
For those who prefer the tranquility of snow-covered forests, there are numerous trails in the Alsatian Vosges for snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or simply walking in nature. The moderate elevation and gentle landscapes make these outings a pleasure for the whole family.
The Tanet resort and the Domaine des Trois-Fours offer a vast playground for Nordic skiing, with loops ranging from 2 km to 6 km, or for a quiet exploration of the snow-covered forest.
When you return, there’s nothing quite like a hot chocolate or a moment of relaxation, without any pressure, in the cozy atmosphere of your lodging.
The marked trails let you explore a pristine environment, where local wildlife sometimes leaves subtle tracks in the powder snow. It’s an ideal activity for reconnecting with nature, far from the noise and hustle and bustle. Guided hikes are sometimes offered by tourist offices or mountain guides, who are happy to share their knowledge of the area, winter flora, and animal tracks. These leisurely walks provide opportunities to enjoy the silence, breathe in the fresh air, and experience winter in a different way—in an authentic and environmentally friendly setting.
